CCNA Routing & Switching has 3 modules, Route, Switch and Tshoot. Each CCNP exam will cost you 300 USD, so total latest exam fee of CCNP R&S certification exams is 900 USD in total.

For example, the CCNP Routing and Switching consists of three exams: Implementing IP Routing (300-101 ROUTE), Implementing IP Switched Networks (300-115 SWITCH) and Troubleshooting and Maintaining IP Networks (300-135 TSHOOT).

In a nutshell, the difference is that the CCNA certification is the associate-level certification that tests professionals on switching and routing fundamentals. The CCNP is a more advanced certification that requires a deeper level of knowledge and understanding of WANs and LANs, and how they work together.

if you don't have CCNA Certification but you have knowledge of CCNA R&S, then you can go for CCNP R&S Course, but in order to get CCNP Certified and to get the Certification, you will have to pass CCNA and CCNP Exams. You can do CCNP Course if you don't have CCNA Certification, but knowledge of CCNA is mandatory.

Note: On February 24, 2020, Cisco will release new certification exams. New training will roll out over the next several months. In the new program, CCNP Routing and Switching certification will be replaced by CCNP Enterprise certification. If you have started working toward the current CCNP Routing and Switching certification, keep going. In the new program, you’ll receive credit toward CCNP Enterprise certification for work you’ve completed in the current CCNP Routing and Switching certification.
